The Illinois Prairie PostgreSQL User Group (PUG) is pleased to announce the Second Developers’ Summit, scheduled for April 14 during our regular meetup time.
Following the success of last year’s event, this summit will bring together application developers, PostgreSQL DBAs, database architects, and database developers for an interactive discussion. The goal is to better understand the challenges of using PostgreSQL as an application backend and to collaboratively explore ways to improve this interaction.
If you are a software engineer who use Postgres, and if you are frustrated with bloated tables, “autovacuum blocking your processes,” partitioned tables being slow, indexes not used, CPU being close to 100% most times, or your system running out of memory, chances are there are some easy fixes that will make your life better and your satisfaction with Postgres might reach the next level. Join us on April 14!
